'95. She/Her. ENG/SPA. Ghostwriter.

Permanently tired, sometimes #writing, always #reading / #gaming, and currently looking for a new fandom to call home.

I mostly talk about books, games, using Linux as the less tech savvy person you'll ever meet and the 1985's movie CLUE.

My #Anbernic RG DS was finally delivered, what a wonder of a thingamaging #retrogaming #retroconsoles

Playing The Sims 2 for Nintendo DS and Lux Pain on it right now.

@libreoffice good for you guys!! Been a user for more than a decade <3
Extremely compelling title page
it'll be just like having a mp3 back in the day, you had to load your own music, or so I remember I used mine before I used my phone for music

gave up jailbreaking my kindle because it (kindle 4, no touch) refuses to connect to amazon's servers to get the date and time, or maybe amazon won't let such an old model do so, and most of the stuff to install post jailbreak need me to be logged in to access some files and what not

okay, fine, accountless and eternally on airplane mode, this device is officially frozen in time, will have its stuff side loaded with my trusty USB

#kindle #amazon

Valve reveal all the Steam events scheduled for 2026

We already had a list of the first lot of Steam events for the year but now we know everything that's coming, as Valve put up the second half.

@schratze to add to this, it's not that people want to actively consume ai stuff, I'd say that ai stuff popularized because people stopped being active participants in their media consumption, to call it something.

Those interested in being more mindful of what they watch, read, experience and enjoy, are certainly NOT looking for ai stuff.

And the people that don't care to have it on their feed also will never care enough to look for it.

@nerdspice maybe depending on the OS, components and compatibility, but I'd say probably not.

That said, this one (Anbernic RG34xx SP) is Linux based and the distro it came with, and the one I flashed into the SD card, already comes with the emulators needed and set up to be pretty much plug and place.

This model runs anything as strong as the nDS and below quite nicely.

There are other models that are Android based, if you're interested in that also.
