🌍 Today marks an important moment: 35 years since the launch of the CORINE (Coordination of Information on the Environment) program, which underlies the CORINE Land Cover (CLC) product - an integral part of the Copernicus Land Monitoring Service (CLMS).

Initiated by the #EuropeanCommision in 1990, the CORINE programme continues to provide a harmonised European land cover and use inventory with 44 thematic classes - from forests to vineyard plots.🛰️🌿
