I'm bad at these things...
I like dogs, tech, gaming, art and other stuff.
I dislike tech, gaming, drama, pineapple and other stuff.
I should also probably put sports here... Talk about that too.

The Oakland Athletics have been such an unapologetically for-profit, and for-profit only, team my entire life. Them saying "fuck the fans" has to be the expectation at this point.

Also, someone really needs to keep Manfred away from mics.

Linus Torvalds completely roasting @morgthorak

This has been kind of a clusterfuck of random thoughts loosely tied together so far. 😅 But Hahn mentioned they need a winner to light a fire under them, Greeny mentioned Dame? I love Dame$ but he doesn’t meet that description. I think Hahn may have been aiming more for a player like Draymond. I’m not sure the personality fit. I could definitely see some butting heads. What’s frustrating is they had that dude in Butler. That’s enough ranting lol

The Process ended when the #NBA ousted Hinkie and installed Colangelo. Simmons, Fultz, Smith, etc. were all part of the ‘post-Process’, when the #Sixers were starting to try to win. Everyone at #ESPN but Woj conveniently forgetting that is pretty annoying. In other words, the Process didn’t start falling apart until they started aggressively buying. The opposite of the Process. Watching the Flyers do it pretty much all my life with nothing to show for it has really turned me off to it. \

Look at all the players they gave up or let go, Butler, Bridges, Shamet, Curry, Thybulle, even Fultz could be a solid piece of maybe the 2nd unit. I think Shamet and Curry was the only player they really got anything back for

The reality is, while depth is definitely more important today than even 10 years ago, basketball is still the sport where a single player can make the biggest difference. And you’re most likely to get that player, while not tearing apart your depth, in the top 5. \

Sounds like my Mastodon instance may be getting shut down. I think I'm just going to go down with the ship though. The beautiful thing about Mastodon, and probably it's biggest downfall, is that it doesn't force you to feel compelled to be on it. The lack of 'the algorithm'(and trying to only go on it for specific reasons) has really helped me to wean off of social media in general. So thanks for that Mastodon.
Looking in the mirror, I just realized I have the real-life equivalent of these eyebrows. (Thicker on the inside half, very thin on the outside half.) And I don't know how to feel about that. 😅 #RandomThoughts
@TonyStark Banning speech, especially in the legislature, is a knife in the heart of democracy in so many ways
the First Amendment and representative democracy to name a couple. It is a tool of authoritarians and fascists
 and apparently Republicans.
@sundogplanets Pretty much the exact same story with me and computer technology. đŸ˜«
