Some guy who talks about video games. Occasionally I play them too... sometimes... I swear.
Primarily into the Nintendo side of gaming.
Also into console modding, general IT, and video production

Got bored, decided to modchip my PS1 finally. Sadly it simply worked as intended rather than failing in some spectacularly exciting way.
@rhm @arstechnica not to mention that's 1% during a test when all systems and ways to access that message are functioning. During a disaster there's a good chance that percent would be higher.
@arstechnica The issue is we can't compare how people receive an alert when all systems are functional vs how they might receive them during a disaster. During a disaster our usual methods may all be taken out or temporarily offline.
@ShinyQuagsire fr I saw "Horizon OS" and thought "Aw dang it that's gonna be annoying"
@arstechnica Well now I get to use the term "Horizon OS" for both the Nintendo Switch (internal OS name) and now for this
@ben no one I know or have interacted with even uses it. And given that it's been a year and you just learned about it, it's kinda why my point is using QuitDiscordNow is being a bit dramatic, don't you think?
Edit: grammar
@ben I don't get it, what's your point? This has been a feature for about a year now
@nik I was "lucky" enough to buy FitXR back when it was a one time payment before they moved to subscription. I have the content that was there when I paid always available to me, with the new stuff requiring a subscription. I know others who say it's worth it, I personally would say otherwise. When I did try paying for a month, a lot of the charting felt poorly put together for the boxing. In the dancing, many songs tracked movements off-beat causing poor scoring. I was not impressed.
The editing phase of a video is always both the best and worst part of the video production process.
The worst because it's the most grueling part of the 3 stages (scripting, recording, editing) and the least "fun" overall.
But on the other hand, being able to see all the pieces coming together is real nice. Especially when I get to finally visually see one of my jokes and laugh at how well it came out.
This weekend is a special StreetPass community event that was put together by StreetPassLove on the bird site. So here's a video I made to briefly talk about my beginnings with the 3DS, and about StreetPass
