so i just tried to load a thread from a different mastodon instance but alas it didn’t work… i like the idea of twitter alternatives, but they have to work…

Write to the Prendergast Governing Body to Withdraw the MAT Proposal
On 3 May the Governing Body of the Prendergast Federation will vote on whether to turn the Prendergast Federation of Schools into a Multi-Academy Trust. The Federation chose this time of year for a six week consultation on a proposal they have been planning in secret for the last 18 months, knowing that teachers and parents would not want to disrupt pupils exams. Write to the Governing Body and Headteachers today to show them that parents, pupils, staff and the Lewisham community are united and ask them to withdraw the proposal.
