I love that the Deutsche Bahn app, which houses all my PII including date of birth and the fact that I have a discount card, asks me every time I book a ticket to tell it a) my age on the date of travel and b) whether I have a discount card and which type it is.

My basic impression after living here for four years is that Germans are the absolute worst at making websites or apps that are beautiful, simple, and easy to use. They are ranked at number 1020 on the list of the Top 100 Countries (where 1 is the best and 100 is the worst) at making human-usable digital content.
