It's funny, but with GDPR and patients' rights and data protection, it keeps shocking me that doctors' offices will email you the flippin form you filled in. Yes, the PII-crammed form in which you put down all your personal data plus where you have a pain in your whatsit, sent by email. By default. Without asking.
I spoke with @brianhonan about something similar (but not this) a short time ago and I reckon he's more right than wrong that most modern email is protected with TLS, but this just strikes me still as wrong.
Talk about a parenting win: a neighbor is turning 17 and having a party. They went around to all the houses in our little enclave and taped notices to the doors that basically says, I'd love to met you all, I'm having a party for my 17th birthday, and I hope you understand it might get a little loud. Before you call the police, please call me and thanks for your understanding and patience.
