FOSDEM 🇧🇪 2026 is a wrap!
The energy was incredible, but the logistics were tough. At times, the overcrowding felt like more than just "busy". Poor air renewal and the sheer density in some rooms, corridors, or booths raised real safety concerns.
It’s the first time in years I’ve left a conference genuinely worried about my health. The "FOSDEM Flu" shouldn't be the price to pay. I hope one day we can keep the event’s soul "alive" without compromising on basic safety. (1/2)

I'm looking forward for "The Perfect Open Source Toolkit for Container Monitoring".
About AI & SecurityI: I have the feeling that Human-AI collaboration for security related issue and PR are a rare thing... Right now its more - from my POV - AI-Shenanigans than anything else.
That cause a lot of "burnout" on some the maintainers.
