Catching up on College Board stuff. If ur political POV can't surviving reading some Marx, it's weak!!! Over the years, I've enjoyed convos w/ fiscal conservative students taking classes in which we read Marx, Du Bois & Robin Kelley. When I teach their work, I ask students to work at understanding their ideas: that is not at all the same thing as forcing them to adopt those ideas. There's apparently some ludicrous essay out there about Eve Sedgwick being — what — anti-non-binary? Sharing one of her minor essays ("Gosh Boy George," 1995).
