@pcambra @jpoesen 100%. I think this project is going to be essential for the project making it another 10 or 20 years. https://www.drupal.org/project/ifwg. We need better financial transparency for the Association and we need to decouple the project's technical health from events, especially those held in any one specific country.

The DA, as with many American orgs (edit: that are funded in part by event revenue), has some hard work to do to figure out where the intersection of their “red lines" is.... That is: 1) the red line of values infractions they're not willing to abide, and 2) the red line on their income sheet where they're no longer able to fulfill their mission at all.

It's a very hard question, but no doubt, the longer we wait, the greater the damage on both fronts.
