Book in progress: "Enough Solid Ground"
How does a mother build resilience and strength in her only child, a daughter of eleven?
How does that child protect herself and have a good life after her mother’s death?
How does her vision of a good life change as she grows up without her mom β€” or does it?
These are some of the questions my #memoir explores. It's an uplifting story of a girl refusing to be derailed by loss, embracing her unique life.

@Mrfunkedude A "thank you for being a good friend" card sent by a training client. So nice of her.
@CrowquillGal thank you. Urban bike rides often inspire me with writing ideas because it's something I've done, since I was very young, to clear my head and boost my mood.
@WestCoastChelle Hi! I posted today and recently about what I'm working on, and used the hashtag #writingcommunity and a few others.
@CrowquillGal I've been journaling since age 10 in 1975, and I'm working on a memoir. When I'm stuck for how to write about or revise a topic, writing about it in my journal takes me one step back from it and often helps me get unstuck. Other times the journal helps me write with more vulnerability, because the journal is private, and that leads to better "real" writing.
@JL_Lycette i thought you did that on purpose and I was the only smarty who got the joke! Ha
@JL_Lycette Your post is meta-flash meta-memoir IMO! πŸ˜€ πŸ‘
