@inherentlee There's also a way in which things impact us differently just because we're queer.
This is something I've had to process the last few years as I interact with my siblings. My sisters are well aware of my dad's misogyny but most of them didn't really pick up on the homophobia or transphobia we were swimming in as kids. (I grew up Evangelical and homeshooled. That shit was everywhere!)
Meanwhile, I picked up on every word of it. I remember specific comments in movie reviews in the Christian "news" magazine my dad subscribed to. I remember comments he made which no one else in the family has any memory of. I remember far more of the homophobia of the 90s and 00s than most of my siblings as well.
The best explanation I have is that, even though I didn't know I was trans or a member of the LGBTQ+ community, that stuff felt more personal and so it stuck.

Keeping in mind that I'm still allowed to hope someone dies from natural causes last time I checked, I strongly suspect that JD Vance is a Ron DeSantis kinda nazi. And back when everyone was predicting Ronny was gonna usurp Trump I told all my homies on social media no way in hell and the Volk can smell a fake tough guy fraud. Ronny doesn't have "the juice" and I don't think Vance does. The juice is not unique to Trump but you gotta be a genuine delusional narcissist for it to work.
so what I'm finding out is that HP #EliteDeskMini design has evolved to its current good state in the 805 G8 (gen 8), and used to be substantially less good. the 800 G4/G5 drive caddy was simply not designed to be able to accomodate a NVMe stick in the second m.2 slot at the same time, which is wild to me, but it's the truth.
fortunately there appear to be a number of 3D printable bracket designs out there which do, because if you aren't trying to have a fan in there (as some HP caddies do), then there's space for the m.2 slot to occupy. anyway my housemate has a 3D printer soooo yeah
