@gregk I agree. But I'm kind of stuck on the horrible truth for the moment. Each time I think there may be some relief (eg EVs or renewable energy) a layer is revealed that shows the [pointlessness. I don't know what to do. (I'm not asking for suggestions 😞 )

@gregk I like reading this man's posts - very insightful, sometimes solution-oriented, usually has my head nodding in agreement. The dystopia has already begun, IMO, but it may not have hit many western nations yet.
