New Fundamentals…for innovation, collaboration, scientific discovery & more. At our pre-launch event on May 21, @samikaski outlined the ELLIS Institute mission to fundamentally re-work AI and ML to transform R&D, enhance human-AI teamwork & create exciting new science.
A blackboard was revealed at the pre-launch, as a nod to the @ELLISforEurope logo and as a symbol of how we are bringing New Fundamentals of machine learning from the drawing board towards transformative applications.
Thanks to supporters who joined, including our 13 university partners, @aaltouniversity President Ilkka Niemelä, Peter Sarlin, Finland's Minister of Science & Culture Mari-Leena Talvitie and colleagues from CSC IT Center for Science.
