In 2019, on March 26th, the EU Parliament confirmed the TRAN ( European Parliament Transport and Tourism Committee) decision to support the EU commission proposal to get rid of the summer/winter clock change. So tonight we will enter year 8 of waiting for the Council of the European Union to do their part in the process so we can finally rid ourselves of this useless theater. #ThanksEU

Kaveri ei pystynyt asentamaan Android-puhelimeensa mitään deittisovelluksia. Play Storessa luki, että sovellus ei ole saatavilla. Testasin ja mulla on sama juttu, mitään deittiäppejä ei löydy.

Ongelma liittynee siihen, etten ole muistaakseni antanut Googlelle suoraan muita henkilötietoja kuin puhelinnumeron ja etunimen. Kaverikin on nykyään aika tarkka yksityisyydestään. Olisi pitänyt ilmeisesti jotenkin todistaa Googlelle täysi-ikäisyys tai jotain, mutta mistään tämä ei ilmennyt.

Johtui mistä tahansa, eston saa vielä toistaiseksi kierrettyä näin:

1. Asenna F-droid https://f-droid.org/
2. F-droidissa asenna Aurora Store
3. Aurora Storessa (käyttämättä Google-tiliä) asenna deittisovellus

(Välttäisin tosin puhelinten deittisovelluksia täysin, koska ne tuskin kunnioittaa ihmisten yksityisyyttä pätkääkään. Ihmisestä riippuen deittaillessa saatetaan antaa itsestä varsin arkaluontoisiakin tietoja.)

Have you spotted ongoing work or planning to support at least viewing ISO 21496-1 #HDR JPEG images on #GNOME, #KDE or anywhere in the #Linux ecosystem?

Also known as compatible schemes #UltraHDR (Google), #SuperHDR (Samsung), #AdaptiveHDR (Apple). I see there is https://github.com/google/libultrahdr but it doesn't claim ISO compatibility so maybe not the best option? From Android 15+ jpegs are coded with both UltraHDR and ISO compliant gain maps.
