@JosephMenn depends on what's in the lollipop.
@GrimmReality I don't necessarily disagree with anyone in this thread, but I'll be the nerd who plays devil's advocate. When police departments receive threat intelligence that remotely resembles terrorism, they're authorized to send police marksmen to mitigate any threats. This includes any connection any person has to any designated terrorist group, to include the far-right ones.
Whether or not a marksman should have been sent is a matter of policy. While I think it's debatable whether or not a marksman was necessary at IU, I think it's safe to say that if you didn't have any connection to a domestic terrorist group, the marksman wasn't aiming at you. However, I can see that it is difficult to discern this as a protester. It's too easy to spin this into a story that doesn't fit the facts, so be careful out there.
@ankit_anubhav future hype is always unrealized until it comes to fruition. MKBHD's review of the Rabbit R1 is currently my perspective on the unrealized claims of the burgeoning AI/ML industry. https://youtu.be/ddTV12hErTc

@sambowne Is this a way of cataloging how many nerds will point you to the YouTube webapp + ublock Origin? If the ad experience sucks, are we justified in blocking the portion of the experience that sucks? Or are ads a necessary evil that grease the wheels of freemium entertainment?
@nixCraft punch up: the MacOS user throws down $3k, and doesn't care what's in their drink. They enjoy it, but they have no clue the bartender just made a $12 Manhattan. The Linux user lectures to the MacOS user about this in a language the MacOS user doesn't understand. The Windows user turns blue and dies.
