I agree with all that you said but I have to ask - why do you care what happens on or to Twitter or what sort of place it ends up being? It was toxic long before Musk bought it. It was (is) a service made to turn people into data points that can be sold. It's never been an equal playing field. You're a resource to be mined. Same as FB, Google, Microsoft etc etc
Getting people off those places is a good thing. That's not the same as saying Musk is *doing* a good thing.
