Last weekend I got to see #RainbowKittenSurprise LIVE! An absolute dream come true having such an amazing band do a set of just over 2 hours of both their greatest hits and new tracks.
Despite our many frustrations and challenges, we’re so fortunate to live in South Africa, the only country on the continent where we can celebrate #pride and #lgbtqia + communities and persons 🇿🇦🏳️🌈. So important not to take this for granted and remember those who are still fighting for these rights.
• Despite a lot of the anxiety, stress and burnout I’ve been feeling lately, (that I’m trying to work through) I feel so immensely grateful for a lot of people in my life. I’ve had some who’ve left and that’s okay, but for those still around and the experiences I’ve had I’m so so grateful.

#book which I highly recommend to anyone looking to understand more about pathways of
#radicalisation in both the online sphere and the actual lives of individuals within extremist movements.
There was an excellent comparative analysis between the online “trad wife” and “ISIS bride” communities and the critical roles they play within their movements that I really enjoyed.
Thoughts:
• Definitely lightweight. I feel like I’m wearing a moisturiser.
• Smooth and easy application, even on a mattifying primer it’s easy to apply and blend. I use the Rimmel Matte Primer with the foundation stick and blending both textures is definitely a mission.
• Doesn’t have the matte finish like the foundation stick. Hard to see here but there’s definitely a shine even after applying the Mac Studio Fix powder so…I’m a biiiiit worried.
As someone with oily skin I use foundation sticks but…my shade was finished at the store I was at yesterday…that I traveled so far from my office when I could be typing a report because I’m completely out of what I had.
Anyway, their sales person recommended I give their liquid foundation in my shade a try and I only agreed because it says “matte finish” which sounds like something that will hold my face together through a 09:00-17:00
I just bought the last croissant in the entire office building…and I’m just here to say that wherever you are in life, if you’re willing to fight, go the extra mile (in heels) and believe in yourself, you can achieve anything you set your mind to.
Spent my last day in Cape Town in my favorite dress. Went out to see the penguins at Boulders Beach and had drinks with my friends at this cute cafe.
I’m in Cape Town 🌊🌞⛰️!! Yesterday was a perfect end to a busy week, having dinner with my friends watching the sunset.
Today we’re off to the beach!!
