#January is over. We hope you have managed to respect women the full month, thanks to the pragmatic #feminuary. Maybe some of you may even try to do it the full year, a very good challenge. But if you don't manage to do so, don't be hard with you and don't listen to feminazis (ensorcelled by deontologism) that said you are "extremists", they sadly don't understand how hard it is for you and that patriarchy won't fall overnight.

Feminuary inspires men to try to respect women for January & throughout the rest of the year. A veganuary and “effective” altruism (by Peter Singer) inspired initiative. (It is a critical account, a parody to show that the idea behind veganuary is wrong.)

@Affienia It may be "very little effort", but that is still a very big "effort" for the remaining animals. Moreover, veganism is not about food solely but all aspects of life regarding sentient animals.
@interacter It was sold a lot more than cruelty kikat. As most people don't care about cruelty, it was guessable that the crueltry-free variant would not be profitable and so will be stopped.
@fergabell Sadly farming plants is very likely to also exploit very badly human workers. The problem here is capitalism, not non-human animals exploitation and killing. However consuming less and simpler products and services, like plants instead of animal products, makes people less depend on the current dominant way of producing and therefore less exploitation.
Don't listen them, this are hardcore ideologists, purists, that promote profound dualism/binarism (for example, see https://www.abolitionistapproach.com/there-is-no-third-choice/ and https://www.abolitionistapproach.com/peter-singer-happy-meat-and-fanatical-vegans/). #Deontologists have striken again. They are bombing us of messages. According to them, “feminuary is a clear attack to women due to its moral relativism”. A #vegan one added “#feminuary are as #sexist as #veganuary is #specist, what a moral bankrupty!” 1/2

@dnc Veganism is not specifically about food, it is not a diet. Veganism is an ethical behavior regarding animals, all aspects of life are concerned and food is only one of them. Therefore "veganuary" is not about veganism, as it is about plant-based diet that is only one consequence of veganism.
@Dragofix @otterX As you nearly wrote it, #veganuary does not exist, or only as a fraud as veganism is about ethical behavior toward animals in all aspects of life and not specifically about food / a diet. People can speak about plant-based diet if they want, but let's not abuse people by saying to them that it is veganism and therefore diverting from the moral imperative we have toward animals and that veganism is the minimum for this.
