Worked from the office instead of from home today, and what with the early rising and the commute and the Behaving As People Expect all day I'm dang tired as a consequence - so I'm skipping Day 3 of the #30DayMapChallenge. Very much enjoying everyone else's polygons though!
JorgeI've exported my geospatial people Mastodon list so you can find folks and initiatives that post about geography, maps, FOSS4G, etc. I'll try to update it frequently, and suggestions are welcomed!

It looks like something I made in school because I basically followed the same process, which is throw something mildly garbage together in an hour and submit it...
I feel like I need at least 20 hours to make a "good" map!

⭐ Open a NEW account at the instance you wish to switch to and log in. Choose your handle etc.
⭐ Go to Edit Profile > Moving From A Different Account > Create An Account Alias. Enter the handle of your the account you want to move from.
⭐ Now log in to your previous account (at mastadon.social for eg.) Go to Edit Profile >Account Settings> Moving To A Different Account. Enter your NEW handle.
Considering moving over to the fosstodon instance... unless anyone has other suggestions? Would like to get off mastodon.social but don't 100% know where best to go!
#30DayMapChallenge starts tomorrow (tomorrow!) and I am in *no way* prepared... but I'm going to try to get a few out there anyway! I don't get a chance to do much #cartography in my day to day work, so I'm trying to use this to force myself to work on it.
Wish me luck. I am very much going to need it.
