hey has anyone on here ever lived like 4 months in one EU country and then like 8 in another?

like i'm not planning to do it but i've often wondered how that would work. like, it should be possible, right? we have freedom of movement

but also they want you to register if you stay longer than 3 months. so how does that work?

Finally watched USS Callister yesterday, and today watched the second one.

Now I kinda want to watch Star Trek (never watched it)

In the mood for some classic #fantasy. saw a thread about Shannara, and thinking about it. The only thing is it’s kinda long?

It’s a cliche story, but that's what I need: "let's go on a quest", easy to read, even if kinda tropey.

There is three kinds of "/hj"

- this is funny but also a bit serious
- this is flirty, but I don't wanna be too commited on it, so it's "half joking" but actually it's not but I'm insecure/don't wanna overstep
- "for legal reasons, this is a joke"

mastodon would do so much better if they'd just call instances "neighborhoods" and said that you should pick your neighborhood based on your interests, so that if you look out your window you'll see your neighbors doing things you find interesting. and that it's okay if you find out you don't like your neighborhood, because you can just move to another one! and all your followers will move with you

and then, yanno, make it easier to search for people you wanna follow cause that shit just sucks
