Doing research on DIY CPUs made me, once again, appreciate the Internet Archive even more
A lot of these pages were on college servers (~/username addresses) and it's amazing to me that they never bothered to see the value in preserving them
Or they were on now defunct hosting companies or the owners themselves have abandoned them for various reasons and disappeared
To have the foresight when the web was still young to try and preserve its content is amazing

Does anyone know if ChrisLAS / Noah / Nunes are on a Mastadon server?
I assume they would continue using twitter as their main form of community communication since it is more public and used.
@jaybirdtheman @architect @agates It's funny how some view installing archlinux as a right of passage for aspiring linux users. Building Gentoo from kernel on the other hand actually teaches skills and builds fundamental understanding.
I guess when starting linux anything that departs from a GUI installer is an initial challenge though!
