Having done the spiral with the Olympia typewriter, I had to do something similar with the Underwood. Here is a Celtic triskelion!
Quick silly idea while playing with the Olympia SM-7 Portable.
Typing on the Olympia SM-7 Portable script typewriter.
My mom used this Olympia SM-7 Portable typewriter to write papers in college. It is a little unusual in that it types in a script (cursive) font.
Basic operations.
Recently, I found someone to repair and clean my typewriters. I thought some of you might enjoy seeing them. This 1933 Underwood Model 6 was my first typewriter, a gift from my grandparents.
I made a dice vault with some of my Celtic key pattern washi tape, an oak and walnut inlaid lid, and gold leafed legs for a giveaway to celebrate Silverleaf Dice hitting 2100 followers on Instagram.

I designed a Celtic art map compass with knotted dragons and Odin’s spear for fantasy maps and made relief prints using the OpenPress Postcard Printing Press.

This little display stand is an experimental prototype inspired by having made some tiny rechargeable lights. Lit from below, the 1-inch acrylic cube transmits the light to provide under-lighting for whatever sits on top of it. This could likely be done better with a custom circuit board with surface mount LEDs, but this was a fun way to make a quick one-off prototype without fabricating boards.
