@bigzaphod If you have a Regal nearby they do ticket deals on Tuesdays (at least here in Nashville). Still more than buying on iTunes, but it helps 😅
Technology is not inevitable. We've decided not to have asbestos in our walls, lead in our pipes, or carginogenic chemicals in our food. (If you're going to argue that it's not everywhere, where would you rather live?) We could just not do LLMs. It's allowed.

RE: https://lingo.lol/@thedansimonson/116156498254821672

this is also why LLMs are not "another layer of abstraction". do you need to read the asm output of your compiler every time it runs? no, and having to do so would substantially reduce the value of said compiler

Zohran Mamdani had +38 approval upon his election. In under 2 months he’s:
•Secured universal childcare
•Paid New Yorkers $30/hour & survived a blizzard without disruption
•Remained wholly honest about the massive budget crisis NYC faces
•Demanded Hochul tax billionaires instead of working people
•Got Trump to commit $12B to NYC for affordable housing, and
•Did it ALL without corporate money

His approval is now +48.

Almost like working people love public servants who fight for working people.🤯

@charliemchapman Ah yeah, I was just reading their FAQ and agreed, seems fairly early still. Fingers crossed something else comes along, or maybe Atlassian lets the browser co. folks work on Arc again or something. I don't have high hopes for that 😅
@charliemchapman Have you tried Zen? (https://zen-browser.app) I haven't used it, but I've heard it's Arc-like. A Firefox fork instead of Chromium-based.
Zen Browser

Beautifully designed, privacy-focused, and packed with features.

@imyke thought of more: Jason from NotJustBikes, Merlin, Tom Scott, Casey Neistat, _John_ Green, Sam Denby (wendover, half as interesting, jet lag), Lando Norris (why not aim high 😅)
@imyke Matt and/or Tommy from P1 , Marco, Stephen, any of the McElroy brothers, Adam Savage, Roman Mars, iJustine, Mike Schur, Patrick Willems, Doug DeMuro, Kevin Perjurer (defunctland YT channel)

If you support your team defining declarative and actionable PRDs, instituting TDD, an expectation of ADRs, time to align on source naming and repo organization, regular time to eliminate flaky tests, a holistic and incremental delivery pipeline, sensible technology defaults, designing decoupled architectures, providing a feature flag mechanism, clear separation of concerns to facilitate system decomposition, the establishment git commit gates, production traffic-shaping capabilities, building a culture of continuous learning, and retros that provide learning and mentorship for juniors, I can almost guarantee that code production will not be the bottleneck.
