@reay Assuming this is a desktop -- does it have a keyboard/mouse attached? If you haven't already, try unplugging/turning them off, I used to have issues with my mouse randomly triggering a wake
Alternatively, you might have a feature called Power Nap enabled, located somewhere in Energy Saver preferences, though I'm afraid I can't recall where
Only other suggestion might be that your Mac is set to wake on receipt of a magic packet (wake-on-LAN) or other network traffic, in the past random devices on my network would somehow wake up my machine. I don't recall how to turn this off though intuition suggests it might be a checkbox next to Power Nap in Energy Saver, or in Sharing prefs.

on a similar note i would appreciate if xcode could require something less than 10x the download size to actually install, or at least inform me as such beforehand rather than taking ages and failing midway
