“But seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness…”

Maybe the question isn’t what we’re chasing.

Maybe it’s what we’re putting ahead of God.

What does seeking His Kingdom first look like in your life today?

The best weddings remind us that life isn’t built alone.

Lauren & Jason’s wedding day celebrated more than a marriage—it celebrated the family and friends who helped bring them to this moment.

The village matters.

Who has helped shape your story?

WORSHIPPING THE FATHER WHO CHANGED EVERYTHING

Today I’m grateful for my Heavenly Father.

For every blessing I recognized.
For every blessing I almost missed.
For every lesson.
For every second chance.
For every prayer answered in ways I never expected.

God has been faithful through every chapter.

“What is one thing God has done in your life that you’ll never forget?”

“Only God can help us get past our past.”

The answer isn’t pretending it never happened.

The answer is surrendering it to the One who can redeem it.

Before we head into the weekend:

The greatest battle of my life is not against the world.

It’s against myself.

Most Christians want to go to heaven.

The challenge is dying to ourselves while we’re still here.

What is one thing God may be asking you to surrender this weekend?

Pride?
Fear?
Control?
Unforgiveness?
Something else?

The challenge isn’t always overcoming adversity.

Sometimes the challenge is preserving the discipline, gratitude, and character that adversity helped create.

Hard times build strength. Good times test it.

I think one of the biggest mistakes we make as adults is looking at old memories through the lens of regret instead of gratitude.

An old photo reminded me that the moments we treasure most are rarely the ones we planned.

They’re the ordinary moments.

The family trips.

The summer afternoons.

The inside jokes.

The laughter.

What’s one memory from your past that still makes you smile today?

Faith.
Hope.
Love.

Three timeless words.

Today I’m photographing Sadie and Blake’s Wisconsin wedding and celebrating the beginning of a new chapter in their lives together.

Congratulations to the happy couple.

Monday reflection:

What is courage?

I suspect the answer is different for each of us.

For me, courage is closely tied to faith. My faith in Jesus gives me strength when life becomes difficult and reminds me that challenges don’t have the final word.

Curious to hear your thoughts:

What does courage mean to you?

“You are the embodiment of courage. If you dig deep enough.”
