With info on 369013 European flights from EUROCONTROL and relevant #adsb trajectories from @openskynetwork you can compete and build an open #machinlearning model to predict a flight's takeoff weight (good input for fuel burnt and gas emissions estimations).

Renner's book , has an interesting map with a projection I was not aware of. Here it is (Fig 24, pag 62-63) Climatic Regions of the World And here it is rendered with climate zones as defined in References Acknowledgements @fil and R Schmuck decidedly helped with their hints. (And fixes, thanks @fil!) Trivia It looks like "Renner's Hemispheric Projection" is mentioned at Fig. 2D in but I haven't been able to get a copy of the publication... Fig. 2 Technical stuff
