Interviewer: Can you perform under pressure?

Me: I can do the Bowie part, but I don't have the upper range to sing the Freddie part.

it seems like more people need to be acquainted with the phrase:

"you cannot reason someone out of something they were not reasoned into"

if reason and rationale dont work, getting louder about it wont help.

you have to change your tactic.

The Trump administration is closing NASA’s largest research library on Friday,
a facility that houses tens of thousands of books, documents and journals
— many of them not digitized or available anywhere else.

Jacob Richmond,
a NASA spokesman, said the agency would review the library holdings over the next 60 days
and some material would be stored in a government warehouse
while the rest would be tossed away.

“This process is an established method that is used by federal agencies to properly dispose of federally owned property,”
Mr. Richmond said.

The shutdown of the library at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Md.,
is part of a larger reorganization under the Trump administration
that includes the closure of 13 buildings
and more than 100 science and engineering laboratories
on the 1,270-acre campus by March 2026.

I really struggle with the concept of “deserving” good things. It just feels… off to me.

I don’t understand why it matters. I think I want to live in a world where we do good things because we can and because people matter to us, not because those people are owed it or have earned it.

What good I do in the world I don’t do because the other person deserves it, I do it because I want to be the kind of person that does good. I don’t understand why anyone cares whether it’s deserved.

Hey, you.

Yes, you.

You, specifically.

You deserve to take up space. To ask for help from your friends when your heart hurts. To share your joy at your triumphs at full volume. To live as the most authentic version of your self, no matter what other people think.

You deserve to be life-sized.
