I am being forced to choose between rent and my dog's heartworm prevention this month. I really need help. If you can help me, I would really appreciate it.

EDIT: It's been three days now, and I still need to get heartworm prevention for Boo. Her last dose was 35 days ago, and I have a 45-day window until it's no longer effective. That means I only have about two days or less. I want to thank everyone who boosted this, but I really need to put the order in soon because they still need to get the go-ahead from the vet before they can approve the sale.

I have added recent photos of Boo with her summer mohawk. I did it myself because of course I can't afford something as frivolous as a dog grooming service

Dear Journal, I dislike being too hot. I had to train the foster human to brush me correctly so I could be cooler without having to do all the grooming of my luxurious coat myself. Correct brushing means giving me wonderful head rubs and helping me relax, then brushing very gently while simultaneously continuing head rubs. This makes brushing tolerable.
