Neil GaimanRachel Pollack is still with us as I type this. Here's an Interview done in 1994 by Erik Davis with me and Rachel for Gnosis Magazine. We were in NYC to work on the Vertigo Tarot together. It's the only time I can remember that the two of us did an Interview:

My friend the brilliant author Rachel Pollack is coming to the end of her life. She won the Nebula, World Fantasy and Arthur C Clarke awards. She is a world renowned expert on Tarot, and her books on Tarot are still regarded as the good standard. She created the first trans superhero, in Doom Patrol in '93. I will miss her very much when she goes. I am writing this at the request of her wife Zoe, to let her friends know that the end is soon, and to let the obituarists know too.

She is an inspiration to so, so many and I feel so blessed to have known her and that she was always so supportive of my work. I haven't seen her for a few years but my thoughts have been with her a great deal, knowing she has been going through so much. What a legacy and what a remarkable woman. She shall be so missed. 💜🙏

Originally commissioned by the London Science Museum, the play debuted at Brighton Fringe festival where it won the fringe review’s Outstanding Theatre award. Susan Luciani directs, bringing her signature epic-scale stylised visuals and soundscape to the production.

I'm enjoying mastodon so far but wow, all the comments about how white it is are extremely right. Almost all the other trans folks I've found have been white, and I know that isn't representative of the real world or even likely mastodon as a whole. I'd love to hear more from trans and queer POC (and POC all up, I've just been connecting with a LOT of trans folks).
Can anyone boost this to help me find more voices to listen to? Or recommend some hashtags? I don't even know how best to tag this.
Reunited online with my #zoomingshakespeare chums for a slightly belated #TwelfthNight. My Sir Toby had one charts hit in the 70s, spent all his royalties on booze and drugs and is now using the shadow of his fame to manipulate poor Sir Andrew into believing that hanging out with him and funding his bad habits is the coolest #actorslife
