@carnage4life If AI really is the future, Apple needs to complete. If they don't they'll lose out. There are a lot of companies ready to fill any AI-shaped hole in the Apple ecosystem. They could do so without paying any Apple tax, and without Apple's approval or control - especially so in the EU.
If Apple borks AI, people will just go elsewhere for it. Maybe it becomes a compelling reason to switch from Apple. It's not like Apple would benefit from deliberately holding back on AI.

Knowing this, the prime minister goaded the opposition with an incredibly insensitive, transphobic attack line.
He then repeatedly refused to apologise to the grieving mother whose daughter was killed as a result of the type of hate he is trying to rile up for his own political gain.
