I ended up switching to using Copilot in Word, and it had far fewer problems working with longer documents.

OMG after all that, getting copilot to create all the pages, it can't even see the content of the pages! I asked it what it can see, and it admitted that it can only read the source file format data (i.e. fluid/loop data) and not the content as I see it in the UI. So something is quite wrong. #copilot

I feel like I'm hitting some memory limit, like I'm asking it to hold too much in memory at once and so it needs to chunk it, but needs to stop and have me tell it to keep going, to copy over the next part etc.

Which makes little sense because yesterday it analyzed a dozen PDFs and generated a clean summary in one shot

I can't see how these tools can generate an entire app from scratch, but I can't get it to turn a word doc into 4 pages without constant re-prompting

The downside (up to now) to using hashtags on Mastodon has been the notifications from bots boosting my posts. Figured out how to tell Mastodon to ignore those, so peace has been restored! #mastodon
