Proud #GTK and #GNOME dev; member of the GNOME Foundation.

Opinions are always my own, but if you don't like them that's too bad.

@jwh @jimmac @hbons yes, because we don't have enough ways of generating security issues with images already.

@chergert @gnome @jjardon @jorge @philn likely by adding even more opaque scaffolding on top of the wrong API, because the next UI testing tool abusing AT-SPI will definitely fix it
How the fuck is it June already I did not agree to this
@wokeleftist1312 @alatiera I don't manage the GNOME social media accounts, but don't worry: there's work being done this week to celebrate Pride Month. Also: we don't use The Nazi Social Media Formerly Known As Twitter any more.
@wingo I have a whole "drafts for mastodon" text file that took over the "drafts for the hellsite" one when I closed my Twitter account
@gnome @jjardon @jorge @philn In practice, though, trying to apply the same test harnesses of server-side applications with a web UI to the desktop is not a serious proposition.

@gnome @jjardon @jorge @philn yes, please.

Not that I think we should be testing UIs, either; it's a waste of time of epic proportions, you're just testing the toolkit, since you have no idea what the applications are actually doing, and you can't treat them like black boxes because there's no forward or backward compatibility guarantee. At least OpenQA screenshots can be updated without having to write a Perl/Python script to inject events.

@xjuan @gnome oh, look at all those young people…
@xjuan @gnome it is… good times 😂
