"What do you wish me to write," asked the bard.
"Anything."
"But what do you wish to read."
"I do not wish to read."
"Do you wish for me to read to you?"
"No. Just write," the princess commanded, closing the curtains around her bed.
And the bard did so in their dimly lit corner, jotting down all words that came to mind, so the princess could fall asleep to the sound of nib scratching parchment.
