Love: it's a Doing Word.

I finally removed Windows and went with Linux (Mint). This pic is me playing with the brushes and layer overlays in Krita. I was originally hanging onto Clip Studio but I think I like Krita just as much, if not more, and it has all the same capabilities. Krita now has comic paneling tools and a CSP-like paint fill that follows reference layers (in addition to the colorize mask function)

The only thing I'm missing is Nightshade/Glaze, which doesn't have Linux support.

Every time I start getting overwhelmed I look at the Artemis II tracker and I remember there are four people right next to the moon right now and it gives me such a beautiful sense of calm and awe. Things are so hard, but I’m going to take what joy I can right now. https://artemistracker.com/

Wren, midway through her five hour car journey to visit our friend.

She couldn't have been better behaved. She looked out the window or settled down to sleep. We had one break for food, drink, and a little walk around on her harness. She was great for that, too.

She's some kind of super cat.

Trans men and nonbinary people exist.

it's insulting to the intelligence of frogs really
the "boiling frog" metaphor sucks, people have tested it and the frog tries to get out of the hot water way before it's boiling. We already had "death by a thousand cuts" and "alarm fatigue" those actually communicate what you mean
Today you learned about Bichelangelo. You're welcome.

I remember cynically joking last year that all the "advanced" AIs like Claude were just the same kind of black-box LLMs but with a bunch of regexes glued onto them

now that the source has leaked: HAHAHA
