I already decided right after Trump won for the first time that I will not travel to the US anymore. This announcement should send chills down your spine, IMHO (In My Humble Opinion). This is pure authoritarianism and proto-fascism.

B.F. Skinner's 1948 paper titled "'Superstition' in the pigeon." is about what happens if you give rewards at completely random intervals.
The experiment involved pigeons in a cage while a food hopper dispensed food at random intervals. While timed intervals would result in operant conditioning, the random intervals introduced "superstition": The pigeons would repeat whatever they were doing when the food was delivered (like spinning or nodding), in the hopes it would bring the food again

More than 7,000 Starlinks in orbit now, and they have permission for 42,000. Even conservatively, at peak operation, they'll dump 25x more aluminum into the stratosphere than falls naturally as they launch and burn up 20-25 sats PER DAY. What will that do? We actually don't know. That metal is already measurable. SpaceX is just running this experiment.

We need fewer satellites in orbit with longer operational lifetimes. THAT is the new engineering challenge in LEO.
