I also think Zalo forcing users into either accept their new terms or be kicked out of the service is the right move, given that other services assume you accept their ToS as you use them. And for those who prioritise data privacy over convenience, they have little say on the unwanted data collection. Still, the Commission’s decision to get VNG to open up more user choices and clearly clarify their policy is a welcome one. (3/4)
