The character on the left is Sandstorm. She's from a 2006 & 2007 Britcom called Hyperdrive. It starred Nick Frost. On the right is Airiam, from Star Trek Discovery in the 2017+. Am I the only one who thinks that Airiam was totally copied from Sandstorm?

Here's the first assembly of the newly acquired (but about 20 years old!) 10-inch telescope. Looked at the moon but I don't have any electronics hooked up to it yet so I don't have any real astrophotography to share but looking through the eyepiece was absolutely incredible. I did take one picture using the camera through the eyepiece. It's pretty cruddy photography.

Why does Windows say your system is "Up to date" when you check for updates. It even shows that it was checked in the last day or two?

But then, when you click the "Check For Updates" button, Windows finds and installs updates? C'mon @Microsoft
- you can do better.

I quit my dentist this week. It started with my annual health history update form. I could not pass the 2nd page without answering my "women's issues."

I was born with XY chromosome and am man in every way.

My dentist (health sciences, right?) mandates that I report any pregnancies or attempts to become.

Sorry but there are two sexes (not genders - gender is a term to describe the masculinity of femininity of words in certain language, which does not include English)!
