Must say — big, big fan of room 1013 being used. Nice callback to the X-Files.
Just watched the first episode of 1899 and… do you remember LOST?
Carpal tunnel surgery at 1, writing code at 3. The future is amazing, y’all.

Daddy got a new toy for his office. That womb chair is the most comfortable thing I’ve ever sat in.
#introduction I’ve been married 12 years. I’ve got 3 kids (9, 7, 4). My hobbies include everything previously mentioned (wife, kids, job), as well as D&D. I’m ADHD, so don’t take my Adderall and cause a shortage, you monsters. I’ve also been dealing with treatment-resistant depression for a very long time (Effexor is the only thing that has sort of worked, kinda). I recently began Ketamine treatments for this, and I cannot speak highly enough of that. It’s been pretty great, so far.
#introduction My name is Drew Fustin (pr. like Justin). I’ve been doing data at startups for 10 years, since finishing my PhD in physics (experimental dark matter) at the University of Chicago. I’m still in Chicago. I’ve worked for Grubhub and SpotHero and DRIVIN, et al. I’m currently building the data organization at soona (everything from data and platform engineering to analytics and reporting to machine learning). At soona, we’re building the content and visual asset pillar of e-commerce.
Happy "desperately try to recreate your social graph Friday" to all who celebrate.
