"The media lost the mainland"

The media lost the mainland

There are 26 million people in Australia. Over 25 million of them are now governed by Labor state and territory governments. Federally, a Labor government was also chosen by the voting public. As the map shows, the entire mainland has rejected the Coalition at state, territory and federal levels. It's been a coast-to-coast wipeout.

An excellent summary of the #RobodebtRC by @guardianaus. I only hope that as well as appropriate punishments for those who presided/enabled the scandal, but that Commissioner Holmes’ final report also leads to a complete reformation of the Australian Public Service #auspol

Rick Morton: "Robo-debt final week: ‘It served them right, did it?’

Liberal National Party criminal intent - In particular the fingerprints of Scott Morrison and Kathryn Campbell, and yes, all their enablers too. "Man's inhumanity to man."
Unforgiveable brutality by the perpetrators against the Australian people least able to defend themselves.

Robo-debt final week: ‘It served them right, did it?’

The crucial moment came in a radio interview. Scott Morrison was a month into his portfolio as minister for Social Services when he announced a crackdown on welfare. This set off a chain of events still being resolved today. From the outset, robo-debt was the expression of a political desire. By 2pm that same day, January 22, 2015, Department of Human Services deputy secretary Malisa Golightly had emailed a link of the full interview to her boss, Kathryn Campbell.

The Saturday Paper
There's some damning evidence of corruption of hiring in DSS by Campbell. Criminality just drips from her, and everything points toward her being a bully and an agent for the Liberal Party, rather than secretary of a department #auspol #RoboDebt

Centrelink robodebt decisions 'bizarre, magical' - InDaily

A Centrelink review officer says there was "no rationale" for how robodebt claims were formed while another staffer reported being disciplined for raising customer concerns with management, as the royal commission into the illegal scheme winds up hearings today.

The last public #robodebtRC viewing this Friday was harrowing. Heartbreaking testimony presented by victims of #robodebt Unimaginable trauma they have been and are still suffering.
Monstrous actions perpetrated by the former Liberal National Party Gov. enabled by the senior Australian public servants. Total evil. #auspol The major players all knew robodebt was illegal, still they pushed through with their bastardry and never "Turned their minds" to the Australian lives destroyed. #LNPNeverAgain #LNP
