@pkirn Usually simplescreenrecorder, but if I want to record multiple screen/apps/cams at the same time: OBS of course.
@gerotakke Still better than an itch you cannot scratch ..
@mosgaard The only issue I have with MIDI on Linux is with Bitwig :P
@mosgaard Huh, I have?
@nielso Cardinal comes with its own plugin host modules (Ildaeil and Carla) that should work :#

@mosgaard <host_ip>:8000

Of course this is not safe to do at all, but if you just want to quickly share a file with your friend over the local network .. why not? :#

@mosgaard `python -m http.server` from the directory you want to share.

@pkirn Or just plain alsaseq (userspace midi).

Having to use snd_virmidi is a giant PITA that none of the other DAWs require and just gives a very very bad UX.

I would expect the same flexibility as JACK for audio has (create busses and route easily outside of the program).

@pkirn Why especially Linux? I see it still doesn't properly integrate with Linux MIDI.

Going to pass on upgrading until they implement proper integration. so I can combine it with all my other Linux MIDI tools.

@ned we're living in the future!
