Please..

Stop sharing and promoting AI art.

Just got a boost from a guy that has a shop selling over a thousand "art" pieces he claims are his.

In all kinda styles. No artist can make all this themselves...

This is NOT ok.

Real art went into making what is used to generate these images. Copyrighted images.

Respect artists! Spend one minute to validate that you do not share AI!

Meta employee sharing how #Threads algo works reminds me of an old dril tweet
Yet again Rufo spills the entire plot like he's got Bond suspended over a pool full of sharks β€” and somehow it doesn't occur to anyone to think "hey, maybe we shouldn't listen to this manipulative opportunist any more."
The great dirty secret of the software industry is that an awful lot of the work that is critical to sustainably build and maintain a software system/product/whatever only happens in the wild because one person with a little extra care and a little extra time decided "I'm not going to wait for this to get priority. I'm not going to wait for permission. I'm just going to do this because it should be done, and damn the consequences."
But I thought they had to raise prices to combat revenue loss due to inflation and wage increases. Does this meanβ€”wait, no, but maybe corporations are lying to us?
I defragged my zebra ...

Brilliant. A bot that buys/sells stocks after Congresscritters buy/sell stocks. It is up 20% during a period the market was flat.

APOD: 2023 October 22 – Ghost Aurora over Canada

A different astronomy and space science related image is featured each day, along with a brief explanation.

The response to this post has been mixed. Some people strongly support it, others . . . not so much.

So far, none of the people protesting have disagreed with my underlying premise, that engaging on Twitter brings legitimacy to a toxic platform with an agenda no different than Breitbart or Daily Stormer. Instead, they say all their friends are still there, so . . . why should they leave?

To these people I say: Sorry, to harsh your buzz, but the fact is Twitter is a far-right platform. That ship sailed a little over a year now. It's only a matter of time until Elon begins medling in the 2024 US presidential election on a scale that will dwarf Facebook's Cambrindge Analytica scandal. Twitter should be isolated from mainstream society. Continue to normalize it with your tweets, likes and retweets if you must, but history isn't going to judge that kindly.
