I never get tired of the views, hiking around the San Pablo reservoir.

I have an idea for a project that requires, among other things, an accelerometer, and which must weigh very little. I designed a breakout board for the LIS3DH today and sent the design off to #oshpark. I recently acquired a hot air station, but have never hand-soldered an LGA package before. It looks challenging. Excited to try!

The bay at Asilomar last night after the storm.
It's my birthday, so my son and his college friends sent me this.
I found a little green lily bud lying on the ground with just a couple inches of stem. It must have broken off someone's bouquet. I put it in a little vase with some water and now, three days later, boom!
It me.

I got my copy of Profit Without Oppression by @KimCrayton1 !

She writes, "If you believe ... that current systems, institutions, and policies are NOT designed to privilege the few at the expense of the many ... this book is not for you. ... I have no desire nor will I engage in "debates" ... because my lived experiences, and that of a multitude of others, for generations, is more than enough."

Yes! Let's go! Will actively seek to apply these blueprints at work, myself and in group settings.

I like to imagine the San Francisco bay area with no development of any kind around it. There are some vistas from which this appears to be the case.
Getting to be tax season and I don't have a single manila envelope to start gathering papers in. I'll just enclose them in this book for now. It looks appropriate.
Not the greatest photo, but the shape of the kite reflecting the unusual shape of the cloud jumped out at me and I like it anyway.
