Spent the day in court observing a criminal trial. A few years back there was a controversy over the cross being displayed on the courthouse. I see the crosses are still there. The courthouse has an entrance on all 4 sides and above each door is a lighted cross.

#Hermann park. People enjoying the paddle boats. Ducks and squirrels roaming on the grounds. And in the background the Texas Medical Center’s Memorial Hermann Hospital and Children’s Hospital.
Finally able to upload a photo. Here are the some of the fossils found at my grandmother’s farm in the 1930s and 1940s that are stored at the University of Texas in Austin. They found some rhinoceros and horse bones. 14-15 million years old. (No mastodon specimens, though)
