Been exactly a yr since we moved to a farm outside the city - exactly a yr since we are trying to figure out if it was a right decision!
Though highly romanticised, moving to a rural area and living a life unknown to you has its challenges.
Had a great time learning about #theyyam in north #kerala. Really wish i could have spend more time.
Theyyam is a religious art form found only in the malabar region of north kerala - it has dravidian influence and each theyyam represents a a goddess / god / deity. It is believed that the deity possess the artist while they perform!
