Got my first rejection letter of 2023. It's a good start to the year because it's technically a sign of progress. Sure it was a no, but a year ago I wouldn't even have sent it #writingcommmunity #nonfiction #sciencewriting

@colehaddon this is my absolute favourite Christmas special. I love every second of it. I saw it a handful of times on TV as a kid and eventually tracked down a copy online. It's a must watch for me.
@jeffvandermeer great picture! We've got a couple of great horned owls around here somewhere, but we never actually see them. Never-ending getting close enough for a picture like that 😍
