Got my first rejection letter of 2023. It's a good start to the year because it's technically a sign of progress. Sure it was a no, but a year ago I wouldn't even have sent it #writingcommmunity #nonfiction #sciencewriting

I took a look at my business in 2022. Things were looking great. My goals for 2023 are pretty simple, I think.

I want to write more about #science, #nature, #travel, and #flyfishing

I want to build out my network to spend more time with #writers and #editors in those areas.
