@grumpygamer with an article opened, click the icon of a paintbrush in the upper right, click advanced, then turn off everything in ‘interface elements’
@skinnylatte so sad to hear of Cookie’s passing. My condolences. It was always a joy to see her here. Thank you for sharing her with us.
@cabel I prefer the older logo, if only due to the fact that the chunky red ‘S’ evokes memories of the NASA worm logo
@cabel you need NTSC eyeballs, sorry 😞
@briankrebs I’m coming up on two years of exclusive use and I’ve had decent success with the discovery station and the “made for you” playlists that are updated once a week. I’ve found a lot of great new bands this year and the suggestions get better as I add more songs to my library. However, compared to Spotify, I do feel like I need to be more hands on with it and use the “suggest less” menu option or tell Siri that “I don’t like this song” to get my preferences really dialed in.
Writing quick Steam reviews for games you like is the single best thing you can do to help their visibility. Taking 10 minutes to go through your library and bang out a handful of reviews for games with <1000 total reviews can really move the needle.
@winampskins 🤔🤔🤔🤔
@pattymo love to see Willie in his element
@briankrebs if you’re ever in the city I recommend stopping by the retail location if it’s ever convenient. It’s a wild operation they’ve got set up there. I’m like a kid in a candy store every time.
@jeffgerstmann I've been subscribed to @feedbin for nearly 10 years since the Google Reader shutdown and have been very happy with it. On desktop, the web client is great for my needs and I keep it pinned to a tab, but I connect my Feedbin account to apps like Reeder or NetNewsWire on iOS/iPadOS for a more "native" experience, although similar clients exist on desktop (for macOS, at least).
