@amxmln @tl I haven't used NNW, but Reeder just worked really great so far and offers a great reading experience, so I haven't had a reason to switch.
But if the dev ever stops supporting the classic Reeder version, NNW definitely is an interesting choice. Does it have any features that you specifically like compared to other readers?
@amxmln yeah, I'm still using Reeder Classic, tried the new Reeder as well but it felt too much like a social media feed😅
Reeder Classic is still great and gets updates, hope it stays that way🤞
@amxmln @nate I've also been using feeeed on and off for the past few months and have found it very pleasant to use as well.
But I have the same fear as you, plus it sometimes feels a bit *too* gimmicky for an RSS reader. I don't know if that makes sense, but I've found that for myself, although it's not perfect, Reeder does what it's supposed to do very well and it's well established, so I chose to stay :)

@koehn Setapp is 100% worth it if you can afford it!
Just for apps like Ulysses, CleanshotX, Noteplan and now Paper itself.

TIL that the term “kakistocracy” exists – greek for “government by the worst people”.
Might or might not be from an article that discusses current events, who knows 🤷♂️
@jedda this is actually a technique I regularly use when I don't feel like going for a run 😂
Just telling myself that I simply have to get dressed and warm up, and then I will be allowed to get back inside. But that sounds silly, so I always run afterwards.
@jedda thanks, Jedda!
Yeah, I believe the circumstances don't matter that much – it's just a good coping mechanism for whenever you need to feel a bit calmer.
