It’s really wild to see the arc of AI and watch the industry go from “haha AI is goofy” to “AI won’t take my job” to “Hey I noticed I cant log into my account anymore. Do I still have my job?”
I think part of me understands that past a certain point, an organization can get encumbered by having teams that are too big that keep it from moving more quickly, but I also don't think this is the way to fix that problem. And not to nitpick on the words, but this makes it sound like you don't want to solve the challenge and you just want to hack off what you don't need. On the flip side, 16 weeks of severance + extra isn't bad, but 6 mos. of Cobra is not much.
